Brooke and the Ramshackle Ship<\/h2>\n

Brooke’s Dad was the captain
\nOf the world’s most hopeless boat
\nIt was ramshackle and rotten
\nIt could hardly stay afloat!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

And on this useless vessel
\nWere the completly useless crew
\nA set of silly sailors
\nWho didn’t have a clue!<\/p>\n

The engine wasn’t working
\nThe ship radio would fail
\nThe boat just wasn’t good enough
\nTo go out and set sail!<\/p>\n

Brooke had a big big think
\nShe thought “It’s up to me!
\nI’ll help make things better
\nSo we can go to sea!”<\/p>\n

All the paint was peeling
\nNothing was ship shape!
\nA hole in the boat’s bottom
\nWas fixed with sticky tape!<\/p>\n

Brooke shook her head and said
\n“It’s like nobody cares!
\nLet’s give this boat a paint
\nAnd work on the repairs!”<\/p>\n

The crew quaked in their cabins
\nThey blubbered and they wailed!
\nThe were scared of ocean serpents
\nWith fangs and slimy scales!<\/p>\n

Brooke yelled “What nonense!
\nSea monsters don’t exist!
\nStop being such silly sailors!
\nI really must insist!”<\/p>\n

The cook always felt seasick
\nEach time the boat rocked.
\nHe never felt like making food
\nEven when the boat was docked!<\/p>\n

“Ride on a rollercoaster
\nAnd keep getting on and on!
\nAfer that waves will feel tame
\nYour sickness will be gone!”<\/p>\n

The navigator on the boat
\nDidn’t know where he was going
\nIn fact he didn’t even seem to know
\nWhich way the wind was blowing!<\/p>\n

Brooke said “Your bad steering
\nCould really cause a rumpus!
\nYou need to use binoculars
\nA map and a compass!”<\/p>\n

So with all Brooke’s ideas on board
\nThings improved so fast
\nThat the boat felt like it was new
\nIt could set sail at last!<\/p>\n

And in the middle of the ocean
\nThe now excellent crew
\nSang a song as they sailed
\n“Brooke, it’s all thanks to you!”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
