{"id":3155,"date":"2010-01-04T19:14:56","date_gmt":"2010-01-05T02:14:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.candlelightstories.com\/?p=3155"},"modified":"2010-12-13T09:55:08","modified_gmt":"2010-12-13T17:55:08","slug":"transportation-security-agents-want-nude-photos-of-children-at-airports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/candlelightstories.com\/Blog\/2010\/01\/04\/transportation-security-agents-want-nude-photos-of-children-at-airports\/","title":{"rendered":"Transportation Security Agents Want Nude Photos of Children at Airports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Many airports in the United States and the United Kingdom have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csmonitor.com\/USA\/2009\/1230\/Number-of-full-body-scanners-at-US-airports-to-triple-in-2010\">installed new full body scanners<\/a>.\u00a0 They are easy to spot.\u00a0 You walk in and a security guard tells you to raise your arms out to the side.\u00a0 Then what happens is they take a naked photograph of you.\u00a0 Naked.\u00a0 Nude.\u00a0 Bare-assed.\u00a0 Birthday suit.\u00a0 Free as the wind blows.\u00a0 Exposed.\u00a0 Porno.<\/p>\n<p>Why porno?\u00a0 Because they take naked pictures and look at them.\u00a0 They want to do it to children too.\u00a0 And guess what?\u00a0 In the U.K. it has suddenly been noticed that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/politics\/2010\/jan\/04\/new-scanners-child-porn-laws\">taking naked pictures of children in airports violates anti-child porn laws<\/a>.\u00a0 You bet.\u00a0 Think about it.\u00a0 Your kid in the machine.\u00a0 Arms up in the air.\u00a0 Being photographed naked through his or her clothes.\u00a0 The TSA claims that a single operator in a booth will view the naked photos of boarding passengers and children.\u00a0 Fine.\u00a0 So think about that.\u00a0 A little fat guy sitting in there with his sandwich and his can of Coke watching you and your kids naked.\u00a0 Enjoy that image?\u00a0 Still want to fly?\u00a0 Or would you rather just drive now?<\/p>\n<p>No one anywhere has the right to look at our naked bodies just because we are getting on an airplane.\u00a0 No one.\u00a0 I certainly will not enter one of these invasive machines under any circumstances.\u00a0 I think that airline passengers wherever they might be should absolutely refuse to walk into these things.\u00a0 That will create chaos and slow things down until these hysterical security people back off with the nude photos.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/current.newsweek.com\/budgettravel\/2009\/04\/in_a_shift_the_transportation.html\">Causing an uproar<\/a> about this is probably the one thing that will stop the roll-out of these machines.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalpost.com\/story.html?id=2392223\">President Obama may in fact expedite<\/a> the increased use of these things.
